Team Profile
For the past five season, Emhof was the driver and team manager for Branich Motorsports. In their inaugural season, the team was "a force to be reckoned with" on the 1998 Woodard’s Concrete Products/Central New York Mini Sprint Tour. The team won five heat races and five feature races, and top-10 finishes in 67% of tour events propelled Emhof to a second place finish in the 1998 CNYMS tour points standings. In 1999, the team continued where it left off in 1998. In 15 qualifying races on the 1999 Woodard’s Concrete Products/CNYMS Tour, the team won five and was runner-up in nine. Emhof captured three feature wins, including two back-to-back wins on the popular 1999 Dow Corning/Kaman Industrial Technologies Mini Sprint Six Gun Shootout. In 2000, Emhof and the team again finished third in the CNYMS points standings. Running all 12 of the sanctioned events, the team had 8 top 10 finishes and 5 top 5 finishes. This included a feature win the opening race of the CVRA Challenge Cup en route to a third place finish overall in the CVRA series points standings. In 2001, the team was one of the best on the tour, as Emhof was runner-up in the tour points standings, missing the championship by only a handful of points. Emhof took five qualifying races and three features, with top 10 finishes in 80% of the CNYMS tour races. Two of the feature wins propelled him to the points champion in 2001 Mini Sprint Challenge Cup series. His three wins were the most on the tour, and he remains the winningest driver on the tour over the past four years. In 2002, Emhof scored three feature wins and 4 heat race wins and continued his consistency on the Central New York Mini Sprint tour. Emhof was in the championship hunt all season and finished third overall, just shy of the title. In 2003, began his own sprint team operation under the name of Mike Emhof Motorsports. Mike competed on the CNYMS tour and finished 7th in the championship point standings. Mike Emhof Motorsports also fielded a rookie team with Bobby Sergeant behind the wheel in a limited schedule. For 2004, Mike Emhof Motorsports will compete in approximately 20 CNYMS tour events with Mike and Bobby 10 events each. Mike Emhof has also started a racing parts branch of Mike Emhof Motorsports and will be the official parts trailer of the Patriot Sprint Group. - Team Drivers -
