CNYMS 2003 Purse Restructured for Bully Hill Vineyards 360 Sprint Nationals
Sodus, NY Aug. 13, 2003–CNYMS 2003 Tour management announces purse structure for the two day Bully Hill Nationals. On the site of Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY on September 5th & 6th a strong field of 1200cc mini sprinters is expected for the 5th annual sprint spectacular. Dave Madison’s Mobile Repair Service of Sodus, NY will be the primary sponsor for the 1200cc portion of the program. For this Special weekend of racing, any 750cc or 1200cc Mini Sprint team will be able to run without having to pay the CNYMS membership fees. The schedule of events for the Mini Sprints is set for a complete show to be run on both nights of racing. The Friday night program will see the standard CNYMS $500.00 to win with additional money being placed in positions 15 through 24. Racers finishing in the top 20 spots can expect to see a minimum of $75.00 for their "A" main efforts. As always, $30.00 tow money will be paid to all non-qualifiers. On the Saturday night program, the expected winners share will be a minimum or $750.00 and could rise to $1000.00 if an excess of 30 cars are signed into the pits for this very exciting weekend of racing. As with the Friday nights purse, there will be a significant increase throughout the entire pay out. The $75.00 to start will be in effect for this program as well.

In addition to the increase in payout, there will be an incentive bonus program in effect. Lias Tires is sponsoring the Top Five Challenge which will pay a bonus of $250.00 if a driver finishes in the top five on Friday and wins on Saturday. Also anyone who finishes in the top five on Friday and again in the top five on Saturday will receive a $25.00 bonus. Also on tap for the 750cc teams and for all non-cnyms tour regulars there will be a bonus paid to the top 3 finishing cars in the "A" main on Saturday night if they run both shows. The total posted awards for this show is nearing $7500.00 for the Mini Sprints.

Friday nights base purse will be, $500.00 to win, 300, 200, 150, 125, 120, 115, 110, 105, 100, 95, 90, 85, 80, 75 for 15th through 20th and 70 for 21st and 22nd with $65.00 for the last 2 spots. On Saturday night the base purse will be $750 to win, 375 for 2nd, 250 for 3rd, 175, 150, 140, 130, 125, 115, 110, 105, and 100 for 12th, 95, 90, 85, 80, and 75 for 17th on back.

The 1200cc Mini Sprints of CNYMS anticipate running 3 heats of 8 laps each to set the top 18 starting positions. The balance of the 24 car starting field will be set with a "B" main. On Friday night there is planned a 15 lap affair with Saturday nights "A" being a 20 lapper.

The pit gates will open at 4:30 on Friday night the 5th with hot laps beginning promptly at 6:15. On Saturday the 6th the same start times are scheduled.
